Event Preview: Sucker Punch Pro Series 177
Sucker Punch Pro Series
2022-08-31, Los Angeles, LA Memorial Colossuseum
Author:Hare Rumpler

Welcome back Sucker Punch faithful!  It is I, Hare Rumpler, along with my pal and analyst, Donkey “Dan”!  Yes, I know, you’re just so thrilled!  Who wouldn’t be?  Ha! Well, maybe you’ll be at least a little thrilled if I tell you that we’ve got an amazing SPPS 177 on tap for you at the Colliseum in LA!  What makes it so special that you could be moved to be even happy, much less thrilled?!?  Well, how about not one…but TWO title fights on the line for the evening!  Yeah, I thought that’d do it!

I believe we’re also going to have NatiBatti joining us this evening for the Undercard.  Perhaps.  We shall see if that comes to pass or not!  If not, well, I suppose Donkey and I will ensure you get full coverage anyways!  (BONUS!!! I just got word that despite my belief that Nati was only doing the Undercard, she thought she was covering the entire event this evening!  So…since Donkey and I have already done half the Main Card…bonus coverage!  You get some NatiBatti input on those fights as well!  How about that?  Even more rambling to muddle through!  Hahahhaa!)

This card brings something for everybody.  We’ve got a Featherweight battle between Happy and Bandini in just the second fight of the night.  Want a little something more?  Ok, how about Lightweights when Whitaker and Rossi go at it to kick off the Main Card?  Beefier you say?  Welterweights perhaps?  Sure, two contests lined up with them, both to close out the Undercard with Martin and Sinclair as well as the big Co-Main Event as the Welterweight belt is on the line with Capac challenging Matsuzaka for the hardware!

But what about the upper weight classes?!?  Oh, sure, we got you covered there as well folks!  Middleweight is represented as Stanley and Barkley, the two “ley’s” in the mix, face each other in the second fight of the Main Card.  From there, the poundage piles up fast folks!  TWO Light Heavyweight bouts on the Undercard with our opener for the evening between Silva and Barnes and then Beckham and Kuznetsov a bit later.  And the BIG BOYS are definitely out to play this evening as you’ve got a trio of beastly battles ready to be waged this evening!  Pruitt and King are early in the middle of the Undercard but our other two showdowns of the behemoths take place in the lead-in to the Main Events with Fuentes taking on Aarnio and then, our final fight of the evening, the belt for the BMF of Sucker Punch (and the world in my opinion) gets scrapped over as Ben Slam defends against Eemeli Lampi!  Ooooh  yeah, good stuff!  No, great stuff!

Now, with that blabbering done, let’s get a quick word from our merchandise partner and sponsor and get into each fight in more detail!

Our fantastic and respected sponsor is Shadow Warrior Nutrition!   Many of you already know them as the providers of Shadow Warrior Tea 160Q., THE energy loss reduction supplements!  For those of you who aren’t in the know on that, you should be, because this is the way you keep your fighter training more often and not taking sessions off to try to keep his energy above 90%!  If you aren’t using this supplement, hurry over and check them out today, you will not be disappointed!

Now, let's get to it!  The full preview is now up here, enjoy!
