 Hey Sucker Punch fans! Hare Rumpler here along with my pal and colleague, Donkey “Dan”, and we’re about to prepare you for a trip to Tokyo baby! Yep, SPPS 188…as well as the next two events after this, are all taking place in Japan this week so we’re spending a ton of time over with our friends on the island. No, not THAT MMAT Island! The island with the big ole Toykyo Bowl for us to pack as many of you screaming nuts into as possible!
A little bit of everything tonight except Welterweights. No Welterweights, if that’s your thing then you’ll be sad. I know who wouldn’t be…NatiBatti! For some reason she has a thing against them…but she turned me down to do part of this preview so her loss! No, instead, we’ll open things up with a big ole Light Heavyweight bout with Beckham Jr and Volkanovski getting at it to warm you folks up. Afterward, settle in for a whole lot of what Risa Roo would call the skinny boy slap fights as our Featherweights dominate the Undercard with three bouts in a row! We’ll close out the Undercard with yet another Light Heavyweight contest as Brad Chestner and Aleks Kuznetsov throw down.
Our Main Card is a bit more diverse with a Middleweight contest kicking things off, a pair of the BIG boys stepping into the cage and then back to Middleweights before our two Main Events. Our Co-Main sees top tier Lightweight action as Guy River faces off against Yip Man lii! That’s a “must-see” fight right there…and then you get our Featherweight championship fight with the belt on the line as Yuro Nagasaki, former champ from CFC, taking on former CFC champ and current SPPS champ, Diogo Jimenez! Guarantee he doesn’t give up that strap easily!
