The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

De Ridder shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Brown napping and manages to drive through into side control!
You can see the frustration on Brown's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Brown has one of De Ridder's arms on lockdown, trying to prevent him from doing any damage.
Brown pushes De Ridder away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, De Ridder gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
