Lundberg decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Mattingly throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Silas stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Silas takes one to the chin there.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Silas moves out of range as Mattingly throws a body kick.
Silas closes this distance looking for a takedown but Mattingly circles away.
Mattingly tries to bum rush Silas with a series of wild strikes but Silas uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Don Mattingly seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mattingly drops Silas with a right and a left! Mattingly comes rushing in but Silas regains his composure and manages to keep Mattingly in guard.

It looks like Andrei Silas has been cut.
Mattingly stopping the sweep attempt from Silas.
Silas is still in real trouble! Can Mattingly finish him?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Breaker shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Stomping but Stomping pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Breaker looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Stomping is fending him off so far but Breaker persists. Nope, Stomping circles away and we're back to standing.

Stomping feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
