The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Tokugawa accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Sanderson manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Tokugawa manages to get himself to full guard.

Tokugawa is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Sanderson is aware though and is defending well.
Sanderson is looking to work some ground and pound but Tokugawa has wrist control.

Sanderson drops back looking for a leg! Tokugawa is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Tokugawa manages to kick Sanderson off! Sanderson jumps back into Tokugawa's guard.
