The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Squire swings for the body but Brown moves out of range.
Brown avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Brown takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Squire tries to bum rush Brown with a series of wild strikes but Brown uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Brown closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Brown thows a huge punch but Squire dodges it nicely.
Brown with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Squire is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Brown has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Brown is looking for a kimura but Squire is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Brown to get the leverage.

Brown decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
