Hood comes to the cage accompanied by Carlos - The Silmarillia. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

That was a close second round but I would say that Russell Jacobs will probably get the nod.

Mir goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Jacobs has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Mir but great work by Jacobs.

Jacobs postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Mir badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Jacobs around the waist but Jacobs pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Jacobs is the winner by TKO! Jacobs jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ledil Kuch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Davola (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kuch comes into the arena with Bob Seger - Turn the Page blaring out of the sound system. Both these fighters are unbeaten, so somebody's 0 has got to go!Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Kuch jabs Davola right on the nose. Davola blinks but takes it well.
Davola lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kuch circles away quickly and effectively.
Davola on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Kuch moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

It looks like Ledil Kuch has been cut.
Kuch scores with a crisp jab that stopped Davola in his tracks.
Kuch is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Davola.
Davola staying out of range there.
Kuch moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

It looks like Joe Davola has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kuch connects with a body shot.
Kuch lands a jab to the head.
Davola throws a head kick that misses.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Kuch, as that shot connected.
Kuch avoids the head kick by Davola.
Kuch stalks Davola and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Davola's face. Davola staggers backwards, shaken.
Davola slips a jab from Kuch.

Kuch smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Kuch drops Davola with a naaaaasty hook - Davola is in real trouble here! Kuch dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
