The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Strope ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Santiago moves away.
Santiago uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Strope.
Trent Strope seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Strope throws a right hand that Santiago ducks under and follows up with a left that Santiago also avoids with ease.
Santiago closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

It looks like Silva Santiago has been cut.
Strope throws a jab when Santiago was well out of range.
Strope fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Santiago manages to avoid it.

Santiago ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Strope throws a nice looking combination but Santiago bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Oooooh!!! Strope has knocked Santiago down with a huge combo! Strope steps away and waves a wobbly Santiago back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alexander throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Digga.
No joy there for Alexander, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Alexander tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Digga changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Alexander looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Digga working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Digga tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Digga wants to control but Alexander is keeping him busy.
