Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Yodsaenklai Fairtex (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Guillermo Penderas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yodsaenklai Fairtex had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 156.1lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Yodsaenklai Fairtex had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Penderas cracks Fairtex on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Fairtex falls backwards against the cage. Penderas follows up with more strikes that drop Fairtex to his knees. Penderas keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Fairtex! This one is all over!

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mike Angelo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Masakatsu Ueda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ueda has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. On his way into the cage it seems that Mike Angelo has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Mike Angelo seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Angelo is defended easily by Ueda.
Ueda is looking to slow Angelo down with leg kicks.
Angelo fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Angelo throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ueda's waist but Ueda gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Angelo off to one side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mike Angelo. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Ueda instigates a clinch.

Ueda has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Angelo uses from the top position.

Oh but Angelo is tightening it up a little... Ueda has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Ueda reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Ueda taps out! nice BJJ there by Angelo!
