OBrien kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Fire Work. OBrien is trying hard to land a takedown here. Hornchuck sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

OBrien is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Hornchuck sees it coming and defends easily.
Hornchuck is trying to maintain the position but OBrien is very close to passing his half guard.

OBrien is trying to work for a kimura but Hornchuck is defending well.
Hornchuck has hold of OBrien's hands but OBrien slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Hornchuck moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

OBrien has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Hornchuck to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! OBrien is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Hornchuck pulls down on the head and he's put OBrien to sleep! This one is all over!

A looping hook to the body misses from Velasco. Edwards does a little dance to reset his feet.
Edwards throws a head kick that misses.

Edwards tries to close the distance and clinch but Velasco swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
