Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mac Day (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Dark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ryan Dark told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circle momentarily. Day darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Dark throws a jab when Day was well out of range.
Dark ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Day has managed to clinch.
Day tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Dark on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Day lands a nice uppercut.
Day connects with a knee to the head.
Day missing with knees to the body.
Day pushes Dark back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Dark wants to get back to striking at distance but Day won't allow it.
Dark tries to break free but Day pushes him back against the cage.
Day prevents Dark from breaking the clinch.

Day gets control of Dark's arms and successfully pulls guard. Day will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Dark trying to stand up but can't free himself from Day's guard.
Dark really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Day. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Day looking for a sweep. Not yet Day, not yet.
Dark wants to get up but he can't break Day's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Day has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Dark doesn't defend quickly enough and Day has managed to lock this one up! Can Dark escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Day on a fantastic submission victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vizotto leaves Maes with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Maes misses with a takedown attempt - Vizotto sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Maes fails with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Stella Maes. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Maes shoots for a double leg takedown but Vizotto sprawls well. He's pushed Maes's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Maes takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Vizotto drops Maes with a beautiful combination! Maes stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Vizotto is looking for the KO!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Maes tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Vizotto swivels and escapes.
Oh Maes is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Vizotto lands with a big right hook that stumbles Maes - he's out on his feet here! Vizotto follows up with another monster hook that separates Maes from consciousness! Maes falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Vizotto stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
