Wood fails to land with a series of punches.
Wood misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
A slapping leg kick lands for Wood.

Wood swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Kruger stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Wood.
Ramsey Wood seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wood lands a jab to Kruger's midsection.
Kruger looks gassed!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Wood cracks Kruger with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Wood has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Kruger to stand back up!
Wood lands a jab to Kruger's midsection.
Kruger takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Kruger drops his hands momentarily and Wood needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Kruger just on the top of the head. Kruger drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Kruger - he's done!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pineda feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Shinya Aoki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Micheal Cyde (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shinya Aoki had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 136.2lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Shinya Aoki is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.
