Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jose Macuco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marco Croca (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jose Macuco had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 207.6lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Marco Croca is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fuller Jnr misses the jab.
Takimoto thows a left - swing and a miss!
Mac Fuller Jnr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fuller Jnr uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Takimoto.
Fuller Jnr misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Fuller Jnr takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Takimoto tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Fuller Jnr's elbow.
Fuller Jnr jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Takimoto walks away with a smile on his face. Fuller Jnr gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Fuller Jnr misses with a few strikes there.
Fuller Jnr tries to close the distance and clinch up but Takimoto swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Fuller Jnr tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Takimoto connects with a looping right hand.
Takimoto throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Fuller Jnr.
Fuller Jnr walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

It looks like Mac Fuller Jnr has been cut.
Takimoto thuds a left hand into Fuller Jnr's body.
Fuller Jnr feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Takimoto's calf.
Takimoto goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Fuller Jnr tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Takimoto is able to avoid easily.
Takimoto takes a body punch but keeps moving.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Fuller Jnr throws a left and a right that both miss
enabling Takimoto to counter with a crisp jab.
Takimoto checks a leg kick.
A slapping body kick lands there for Fuller Jnr.
Fuller Jnr looks to land a combination but Takimoto avoids it well.
Takimoto looks to land a right hand but Fuller Jnr moved out of range.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tetsuya Takimoto dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Takimoto tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Fuller Jnr was well out of range. Poor timing from Takimoto.

and Takimoto counters with a left and a right that stings Fuller Jnr.

Fuller Jnr misses with a few strikes there.
Fuller Jnr is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Oh Fuller Jnr is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Fuller Jnr has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.
Fuller Jnr throws a nice looking combination but Takimoto bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Fuller Jnr uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Takimoto.
Takimoto steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Fuller Jnr is out on his feet! Takimoto sets himself and nearly takes Fuller Jnr's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!

Canto is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Pinto's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Pinto's back!

Bertozzi tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kawai sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Bertozzi somewhat.

Kawai's corner calls for a 1-2. Kawai obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Bertozzi changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kawai tries to avoid it but Bertozzi manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kawai to the ground. Kawai escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Kawai just misses with a punch to the body.
Bertozzi closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
