I think Haapasalo might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Korpiklaani - Vodka. Dmitriy Bashkin looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

A slow jab from Bashkin misses its intended target.
Bashkin looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Haapasalo slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

It looks like Dmitriy Bashkin has been cut.
Haapasalo is looking to slow Bashkin down with leg kicks.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Haapasalo circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Bashkin tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Haapasalo wins by KO!

Horrible takedown by Sherstikov or perhaps it was just good defense by Andreev which made him look bad.
Sherstikov shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Andreev as he jumps to the side.

Andreev closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Andreev lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Andreev.
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A shot to the liver by Andrews. Beautiful body shot.
Andrews throws a wild body kick that Kosarev sees coming a mile off.
Kosarev closes the distance and clinches up with Andrews, looking for a takedown. Kosarev pushes Andrews against the cage but Andrews circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Andrews misses with a takedown

and Kosarev counters by moving into the clinch.
Andrews has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Kosarev lands a takedown into guard.
Andrews is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Kosarev being controlled here momentarily.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Andrews is on top in guard.
Andrews wants to control from the top but Kosarev keeps moving.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Andrews is pushing down on Kosarev's leg trying to pass to half guard. Kosarev is fighting to maintain full guard but Andrews has managed to sneak the leg through.
Kosarev wants to control the action here but instead Andrews manages to pass to full mount!
Kosarev wants to control but Andrews is having none of it.
Andrews pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Kosarev looks gassed!

Andrews forces the positional change into back control.

Andrews is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Kosarev has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Andrews connects with a big shot to the side of Kosarev's head.
Kosarev trying to control the action but Andrews just sinks the hooks in.

Kosarev is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.
Andrews punishes Kosarev with strikes from the back mount.

Andrews looking for the choke from the back.
Kosarev is taking damage to the body and head.

Andrews working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Kosarev is doing well to defend. Andrews seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Kosarev is forced to tap and this one is over!

Grzmotojad postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Paapoja looks a forlorn figure.

Grzmotojad softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Paapoja is out cold! Grzmotojad jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!
