A head kick from Silva lands but Render takes it in his stride.

It looks like Phillipe Render has been cut.
Silva throws a nice looking combination but Render bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Render will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Render shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Silva as he avoids it easily.
Render sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Rosalando lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between George Chavalo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lazarus Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Enter Sandman - Metallica. George Chavalo had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 186.2lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds.
