The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nogueira throws a series of punches but Sylvia avoids them all with ease.
Sylvia is looking to clinch but Nogueira is avoiding it.
Nogueira shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Sylvia shoots in and bounces Nogueira off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Nogueira lands a decent punch to the body there.
Nogueira controls Sylvia momentarily but Sylvia frees himself.
