The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Walker is defended easily by Hui.
Hui displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Walker.
Hui lands a nice shot that snaps Walker's head back.
Hui stuffs the takedown attempt from Walker. Walker gets slowly back to his feet.

Zero fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Stroud gets caught flat footed, as Zero shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Zero drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Stroud manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Zero has Stroud in his guard.

Zero is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Zero escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Stroud gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Stroud has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
