The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bronson closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Aida did well to prevent Bronson getting side control.
Aida is trying to maintain the position but Bronson is very close to passing his half guard.

Aida has hold of Bronson's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Bronson manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Akaboshi Aida overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Bronson is looking to improve his position but Aida isn't that keen on the idea.

Aida wants to finish this one by submission but Bronson is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Aida.

Blankenship kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Dead Man's Party. Marcus is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by "Princes of the Universe," by Queen. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.
