The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Donnech changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Tadano looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Donnech thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

A looping hook to the body misses from Tao. Morgan does a little dance to reset his feet.
Tao throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Tao throws a head kick that Morgan semi-blocks.

It looks like Derick Morgan has been cut.
Tao throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Tao uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Morgan.

Tao goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

The ref is looking closely - Morgan is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Morgan is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.

Wazed's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Tao lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Machida has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Machida and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
