The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Levin closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Dios to the mat! Dios manages to get full guard.
Dios will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Dios is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Levin trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Levin slips nicely into half guard.
Dios wants to get back to his feet.

Levin is looking for submissions but instead, Dios has regained full guard.

Levin is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Dios is just riding it out for now. Levin eventually gives up the hold.

Levin tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Levin has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Levin creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Dios sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Ariel Levin hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Levin shoots in looking for a takedown. Dios tries to sprawl out of it but Levin keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Dios manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Via Dios has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

and RunningRabbit counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Murder throws a combination but it was largely blocked by RunningRabbit.
Murder keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
RunningRabbit dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Murder. That did some damage!
RunningRabbit fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Murder manages to avoid it.
Murder uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by RunningRabbit.
Murder scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

RunningRabbit throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Murder was covering up waiting for the punch and RunningRabbit finishes the takedown easily into guard.

RunningRabbit loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as RunningRabbit accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jason Steele.
