The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Someer scores with a head kick. Smith tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
The fighters circle momentarily. Smith darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Smith gets tackled into the cage by Someer. Someer maintains the clinch.

Someer pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

No joy there for Smith, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Smith rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Someer moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Someer drives through and clinches with Smith against the cage.
Smith looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Someer escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Smith feints a jab promting Someer to slip. Smith then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Someer slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Smith connects with a crisp jab.
Someer takes a swing at Smith's ribcage but misses.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Someer throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Smith lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Someer backs up against the cage.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
A frustrated look appears on Smith's face as he tries to break the clinch.
A head punch on the inside from Smith fails to land.

Someer gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.

Aerts tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Master cranks the arm and Aerts screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Aerts, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
