Pleaser fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Brand sprawls well initially but Pleaser persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Brand tries to get to full guard but Pleaser has control of the leg.

Pleaser is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Brand sees it coming and defends easily.
Pleaser is pressing down on Brand's thigh, looking to free his foot. Brand is holding on for now.
Pleaser thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Pleaser is trying to control. Brand wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Pleaser swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Brand is now in Pleaser's guard. A big mistake from Pleaser there, giving up the dominant position!
