Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hatfield uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Play.
Play throws a looping overhand right but Hatfield ducks down to avoid it.

Play pivots, looking for a leg kick but Hatfield is out of range and Play settles back down.

Play is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Hatfield is pushing down on Play's leg trying to pass to half guard. Play is fighting to maintain full guard but Hatfield has managed to sneak the leg through.

Hatfield lands with an uppercut that bounces Play off the cage and back into rage.

The fight stays on the outside here - Hatfield looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

It looks like Foul Play has been cut.
Play blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Play jumps guard and drags Hatfield to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Play regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Hatfield.

Hatfield is looking to work some ground and pound but Play has wrist control.

Play manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Hatfield manages to get himself to full guard.
Foul Play has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Hatfield is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Hatfield is on top in guard.

Play throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Hatfield escapes and throws Play's legs to the side, diving into side control!

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Play tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Hatfield presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Play is squirming around, avoiding Hatfield's attempts to control the action.
Hatfield controlling the pace for now.
Hatfield prevents Play from getting the reversal.

And that's the end of the fight!
Hannibal Hatfield showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Hatfield, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
