The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice leg kick lands there from Diu.
Rey ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Diu moves away.
Rey tries to move into range but Diu moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Diu bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Diu throws a front kick that sends Rey stumbling back into the cage.
Rey tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Diu lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Rey has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Rey and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Jones enables Lytle to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Jones manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Jones trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Shepherd might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Ykonen has got the better of the exchanges.

Dynamite is pawing at Emelianenko, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Emelianenko's nose. Emelianenko is badly hurt! Dynamite pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Emelianenko tries desperately to hold on but Dynamite is relentless in his assault! As Emelianenko receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Dynamite away and this one is in the books!
