The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hendricks's jab looks to have found its range, popping Laursen under the eye.
Laursen keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Laursen slips under a jab from Hendricks.
Hendricks wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Laursen looks gassed!
Laursen shoots in and drives through. Hendricks sprawls well.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Laursen moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Hendricks misses with a wild body shot.
Hendricks throws an overhand right that lands on Laursen's shoulder, as Laursen tries to avoid the shot.
Laursen slaps away a takedown attempt from Hendricks, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Hendricks lands a left and a right that send Laursen crashing to the mat, dazed. Hendricks thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Laursen is rocked!

It looks like James Laursen has been cut.
Hendricks shoots in for a takedown but Laursen shows good takedown defense.
Laursen is still on wobbly legs! Can Hendricks finish him?

Acia avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Dover pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Acia takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Acia enables Dover to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Acia manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Acia wants to get back to his feet but Dover is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
