On his way into the cage it seems that Mick Foley has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Mick Foley seems to be OK! The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Penl shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Foley as he avoids it easily.
Foley shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Penl eats them both and turns towards Foley to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

It looks like Jason Penl has been cut.
Foley stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Foley slaps away a takedown attempt from Penl, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Foley swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Penl.
A jab from Foley finds it's way through Penl's defenses.
A looping hook to the body misses from Foley. Penl does a little dance to reset his feet.
Mick Foley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The referee is keeping an eye on Foley - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Penl has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Penl and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
