With a record of 7 - 10 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Riku Tiirismaa!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Baird looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Tiirismaa shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Tiirismaa was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Tiirismaa swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Baird is now in Tiirismaa's guard. A big mistake from Tiirismaa there, giving up the dominant position!
Tiirismaa tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Tiirismaa has his foot on Baird's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Baird works his way back into a safe position though.
Baird wanted to stand there but Tiirismaa had control of the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Tiirismaa is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Tiirismaa wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Baird has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Tiirismaa avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Baird is looking to stand up but Tiirismaa won't let him.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Tiirismaa working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Baird.

Baird got a little sloppy there for a moment and Tiirismaa has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Baird has managed to get both his arms back between Tiirismaa's legs - danger averted.

Baird has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Tiirismaa to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Baird is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Tiirismaa pulls down on the head and he's put Baird to sleep! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tabarez throws a combination but it was largely blocked by White.
White is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Tabarez moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Tabarez has taken the fight to the clinch.
White can't get the takedown.
White drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Tabarez gets the underhooks and prevents it.
White is trying to drag Tabarez to the mat but Tabarez just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Antonio Tabarez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jesco White.

White pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

White tries to sprawl but Tabarez drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Tabarez seems to be looking for submissions.

I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Luis Fabiano was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Bunga drops Fabiano with a beautiful combination! Fabiano stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Bunga is looking for the KO!

It looks like Luis Fabiano has been cut.
Bunga lands with a nice body punch.
A slapping leg kick lands for Bunga.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Bunga clinches up with Fabiano and pushes him back against the cage.

Bunga breaks the clinch.

Bunga closes the distance and clinches.
Fabiano tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Bunga just stands there and leans against the cage.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Bunga.
Bunga is looking to break free of the clinch but Fabiano has double underhooks.
Fabiano keeps control of Bunga as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Fabiano tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Bunga smiles and moves away.
The fighters circle, before Bunga throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Fabiano's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Bunga lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

Hrozny postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Tarasov looks a forlorn figure.

Salim lands with an uppercut that bounces McDwarf off the cage and back into rage.

Salim misses with a wild body shot.
Salim fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. McDwarf looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Salim stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Salim connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks McDwarf out cold! This one is over in a flash!

Rub lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Dakel falls backwards - clearly groggy! Rub dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
