The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Hurt connects with a nice short shot to Kobayashi's temple.

Hurt has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Kobayashi is trying to keep an underhook but Hurt manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Kobayashi has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Hurt is really squeezing tight and eventually Kobayashi passes out! Hurt breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Schmidt cracks Raider with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

It looks like Ricky Raider has been cut.

Schmidt looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

Schmidt is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Raider is surviving well by controlling Schmidt's body position as best he can.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Raider is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
Raider looks gassed!

Schmidt has hold of an arm here, looking to extend it. He's committed to the armbar attempt here! Will he get it?! Yes! Raider is forced to tap!
