Pignon is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Monster. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sanius Viver!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Francois Pignon!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Skip Squint and Hugh Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pignon avoids the head kick by Viver.
Viver looks to land a combination but Pignon avoids it well.

Viver feints and as Pignon raises his hands in defense, Viver changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Pignon is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Viver has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Viver wants to control from the top but Pignon keeps moving.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Hack gets in close and instigates a clinch.
The referee is keeping an eye on Hack - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Hack escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

St Petersburgh moves into the clinch successfully.
Hack lands a good knee to the midsection. St Petersburgh won't want to take too many of those.

St Petersburgh manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
