Kogort is trying to work for a sweep but Sychev has mounted him!

Franklin closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Filatov quickly recovers to half guard.
The fighters are battling for position here. Filatov manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Franklin stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Filatov swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Slava Filatov's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

Kurmotus bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Chung's head backwards.

It looks like Wang Chung has been cut.

This has been an exciting period of action!
A telegraphed right hand from Chung misses the target.

Kurmotus flashes Chung a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Chung's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Chung crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Kurmotus punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ivgeny Chumakov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nikolay Nechvidov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chumakov comes to the cage accompanied by Little Wing - SRV. Nikolay Nechvidov struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 157.8lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Chumakov is trying hard to land a takedown here. Nechvidov sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Nechvidov enables Chumakov to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Nechvidov manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Chumakov is pushing down on Nechvidov's leg trying to pass to half guard. Nechvidov is fighting to maintain full guard but Chumakov has managed to sneak the leg through.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Chumakov in particular looking to stall.

Schmidt stalks ddurnovs and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into ddurnovs's face. ddurnovs staggers backwards, shaken.

Schmidt moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Fahnskhap distracts Opasen with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Opasen has his foot on Fahnskhap's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Fahnskhap works his way back into a safe position though.

Opasen is in a horrible position here. Fahnskhap smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Opasen is trying desperately to improve position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
BOOM! Fahnskhap connects with a massive shot to the dome!

It looks like Osobo Opasen has been cut.
Opasen is looking to improve his position but Fahnskhap isn't that keen on the idea.
Fahnskhap lands a big shot there that rocks Opasen but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Opasen wants to control but Fahnskhap is having none of it.
Opasen keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Opasen looks gassed!
Opasen regains half guard.
Fahnskhap winds up and cracks Opasen with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Fahnskhap tries to pass the half guard into mount. Opasen knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Opasen is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Fahnskhap scores with a couple of nice shots.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Fahnskhap looks to land a strike but Opasen avoids it nicely and regains full guard.

Opasen looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Fahnskhap has picked Opasen up and slammed him! Opasen can't keep hold of the triangle and Fahnskhap manages to pass to side control!
Fahnskhap creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Opasen is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Fahnskhap's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Fahnskhap not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Opasen tries to roll over but Fahnskhap keeps him under control.
Opasen trying to hold on to Fahnskhap's head to control him but Fahnskhap postures up.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Fahnskhap shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Opasen eats them both and turns towards Fahnskhap to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Fahnskhap fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Fahnskhap lands the left hand.
Opasen misses with a takedown attempt
and Fahnskhap connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Fahnskhap looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Osobo Opasen is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

That has opened up Osobo Opasen's cut even more.
Fahnskhap scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Opasen is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Fahnskhap can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
