The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kane tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Naama swivels and escapes.
Kane leaves Naama with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Naama misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Naama throws a right hand that Kane ducks under and follows up with a left that Kane also avoids with ease.
Naama misses with a series of wild punches.
Naama tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Naama throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kane.
Turo Naama seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kane lands a nice shot that snaps Naama's head back.
Kane lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Naama circles away quickly and effectively.

Naama dives in and grabs Kane's left leg, looking for a takedown. Kane pushes down on Naama's head and hops out.

Tuominen's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Sherki wants to stand but Tuominen is controlling his posture from full guard.
Tuominen pulls Sherki in close to his closed guard and prevents Sherki from doing any damage or advancing position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Sherki tries for a takedown but Tuominen sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Teemu Tuominen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alexis Sherki.

Tuominen feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Sherki sprawling to the canvas! Sherki rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Tuominen finish him?!

It looks like Alexis Sherki has been cut.
Tuominen lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Sherki circles away quickly and effectively.

Tuominen lands a big right hand that sends Sherki crashing to the mat! Tuominen stays standing though and waves Sherki back to his feet!

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Burero throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Pancha closes this distance looking for a takedown but Burero circles away.
Pancha dodges the punch combination from Burero.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Pancha crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Burero - the referee stops the clock and Pancha gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Burero. Pancha manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Pancha drops back looking for a leg! Burero is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Burero manages to kick Pancha off! Pancha jumps back into Burero's guard.

Burero is working an open guard so Pancha takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Pancha moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
