The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
dem rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Suarez moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Hiscock shoots in looking for a takedown but Ironcrotch manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Hiscock's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Hiscock is trying hard to land a takedown here. Ironcrotch sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Ironcrotch leaves Hiscock with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Ironcrotch sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Hiscock is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Hiscock is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Ironcrotch really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hiscock. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

James is doing well to control the position and prevent Sagunetto from advancing to side control.
Sagunetto is keen to just control but James is a slippery customer.

Ziskie stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Blank shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ziskie pinned against the cage. Ziskie gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Ziskie takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Blank shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ziskie as he jumps to the side.
Blank shoots in for a double leg but Ziskie sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ted Blank. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Blank shoots for a takedown but Ziskie saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Blank changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ziskie tries to avoid it but Blank manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ziskie to the ground. Ziskie escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Ziskie looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Ziskie backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Blank's temple! It sends Blank violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Ziskie celebrates and the doctors try to help Blank!

After initially coming in at 136.1lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds.
