The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Girl throws a combination that misses
and Bonan counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Girl wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Girl tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Bonan manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Bonan lands with a nice body punch.
Little Girl seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Girl throws a nice looking combination but Bonan bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Bonan tries for a takedown but Girl sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Girl really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bonan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

and Bonan counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Bonan working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Bonan tries to pass the half guard into mount. Girl knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Bonan is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Bonan is taking a breather. Girl says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Bonan uses his free foot to push down on Girl's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Girl.

Bonan is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Girl to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Girl shrugs it off.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Girl can do anything to dispel that myth.

Bonan seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Girl for as long as he can get away with.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Il takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Dragic throws a right and a left that Il avoids nicely.

Kim Jong Il's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
