Fawkes shoots in for a takedown but Breznev shows good takedown defense.

Emelianenko throws out a loose jab but Corven uses good head movement to avoid it.

Corven swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Emelianenko is now in Corven's guard. A big mistake from Corven there, giving up the dominant position!

Corven is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Emelianenko pushes Corven off looking to stand but Corven dives back in and keeps control.

Corven wants to work for an arm triangle but Emelianenko is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Fedor Emelianenko will probably get the nod.

Butsikov closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Kikkas to the mat! Kikkas manages to get full guard.
Butsikov in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Butsikov throws and elbow that misses. Kikkas uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Butsikov's guard. Nice move by Kikkas!
Kikkas stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Butsikov swivels though and keeps the full guard.
