Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mer Quiroz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Sims (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Quiroz might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to WHO WHAT WHEN WHERE. Sims has chosen YMCA as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mer Quiroz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quiroz throws a one two combo.

It looks like David Sims has been cut.
Quiroz lands a nice looking body shot.
Quiroz connects with a body shot.
A left and a right from Quiroz both land. Nice combination.
Quiroz misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Sims takes a jab right on the kisser.
Quiroz scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Sims slips a jab and a cross from Quiroz.
Quiroz cracks a nice hook into Sims's ribs.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Quiroz throws a one two combo.
Quiroz scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Sims doesn't seem bothered though.
Quiroz clobbers Sims with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Sims shoots in looking for a takedown. Quiroz tries to sprawl out of it but Sims keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Quiroz manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Quiroz stuns Sims with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Quiroz throws a one two combo.
Quiroz lands a jab-cross combination.
Sims looks gassed!
Quiroz's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Quiroz duly obliges.
Sims throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Quiroz counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Quiroz dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Quiroz shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Sims eats them both and turns towards Quiroz to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Quiroz lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Quiroz punishes Sims's body with a nice straight punch.
David Sims seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Quiroz feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Simss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Quiroz closes the distance and lands a one-two.

That has opened up David Sims's cut even more.
Sims has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Quiroz finds it's way round the side to connect with Sims's head.
A right-left combo lands from Quiroz.

Sims is rocked!
Quiroz throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Sims colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Quiroz as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Sims is left battered and dazed whilst Quiroz and his camp cheer!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dekkers tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Einstein throws a big shot that misses.
Dekkers lands a nice shot to the body.
Einstein lands with a shot to the body.
A low kick from Dekkers misses
and Einstein counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Dekkers, as that shot connected.

Dekkers manages to get back to half guard.
Dekkers avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Einstein.
Einstein is trying to control. Dekkers wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Einstein has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Einstein covers up and Dekkers unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Well Stern has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
