Bat got a little sloppy there for a moment and Northcote has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bat has managed to get both his arms back between Northcote's legs - danger averted.

Planter feints and as Fridge raises his hands in defense, Planter changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Fridge is trying to keep Planter in close.

Planter drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Planter jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Fridge has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Planter is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Fridge.

Planter has hold of Fridge's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Fridge seems comfortable defending it but Planter has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Fridge is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Fridge is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Planter couldn't care less - he's delighted!
