The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Junakovic gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows De Sousa to score an easy takedown into full guard.

De Sousa is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Junakovic doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time De Sousa.

De Sousa is looking for a kimura but Junakovic is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for De Sousa to get the leverage.

They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Nielsen hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Skallagrimsson wants to clinch but Santos slips to the side
and Skallagrimsson takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

It looks like Egil Skallagrimsson has been cut.
Skallagrimsson closes the distance but Santos moves to the side

and Skallagrimsson is countered with a crisp right hand from Santos that sends him to the canvas! Santos follows him to the mat into side control.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Santos controls the position.
Let's hope that Santos has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Dos Santos seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Skallagrimsson bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Skallagrimsson wants to take a breather but Santos manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Skallagrimsson.

Dos Santos showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Santos stuffs the takedown.
Skallagrimsson shoots in looking for a takedown. Santos tries to sprawl out of it but Skallagrimsson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Santos manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Both fighters circle each other, looking for something big. Santos moves in and throws an overhand right. That hurt Skallagrimsson! Santos continues to tee off on Skallagrimsson, landing with a left and a right! Santos connects with a right hand that leaves Skallagrimsson sleeping against the cage! What a finish by Santos!

Kandinsky motions for Sirovica to come forward. Kandinsky throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
