Saint content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Ctvrtlik has locked up a guillotine! Ctvrtlik's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Saint is holding on here and Ctvrtlik must be using up a lot of energy. Saint has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Ctvrtlik gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!

Roger Reynolds had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 187.5lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Reynolds gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Pereira Dos Santos.
Pereira Dos Santos jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Reynolds walks away with a smile on his face. Pereira Dos Santos gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Reynolds shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Reynolds feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Pereira Dos Santos has his foot on Reynolds's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Reynolds works his way back into a safe position though.
