The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rogers cracks Valverde with a good jab.
Rogers lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Valverde fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Rogers looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Rogers takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
