The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jenkins fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Yemelyanenko, pushing him back against the ropes.
Yemelyanenko is looking for a takedown up against the ropes. Jenkins gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Jenkins is trying to trip Yemelyanenko. He has hold of a leg but Yemelyanenko is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Jenkins persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Jenkins stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Yemelyanenko swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Jenkins throws a strike but Yemelyanenko rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
