Diaz tries to bum rush Onfollow with a series of wild strikes but Onfollow uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
No joy there for Diaz, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Randy Skripplenorth.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Radd connects with a jab.
Nice combo by Radd! Oh, that's hurt him - Buckley falls to the canvas and Radd follows him into side control.

Buckley is rocked!
Radd works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Buckley is still in real trouble! Can Radd finish him?
You can see the frustration on Buckley's face as Radd controls the position.
Radd working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
Buckley gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Radd misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Buckley seems to have recovered his senses.

Radd's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Buckley is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Radd tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Radd knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Buckley on the ground.

Radd rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Buckley moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
