These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jess shoots in and bounces Ball off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Ball is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Ball keeping moving, preventing Jess from controlling successfully.
Ball utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Jess trying to control the position from guard on top but Ball is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Horrible takedown by Jess or perhaps it was just good defense by Ball which made him look bad.
