The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takamura is looking to clinch but Ochi is avoiding it.

Jun Ochi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Ochi drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Takamura lands with a big right hook that stumbles Ochi - he's out on his feet here! Takamura follows up with another monster hook that separates Ochi from consciousness! Ochi falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Takamura stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Sawaki lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Kaeosawang has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Kaeosawang and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Kaeosawang throws an overhand right that lands on Sawaki's shoulder, as Sawaki tries to avoid the shot.

Kaeosawang's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Sawaki has hold of Kaeosawang's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Kaeosawang manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

BOOM! Sawaki connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Sawaki postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Kaeosawang looks a forlorn figure.

Welles throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hanzo's waist but Hanzo gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Welles off to one side.
Welles fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Hanzo.

Welles closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
