The fight stays on the outside here - Putnam looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Putnam rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Volte moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Putnam tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Putnam fails to land with a series of punches.
Putnam is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Volte.
Volte throws a right and a left that both miss.
Volte catches Putnam napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Putnam to the canvas!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Putnam tries to clinch up but Volte circles away and keeps his distance.
Volte connects with a nice cross there... Putnam is looking wobbly and Volte recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Putnam to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Volte jumps onto the ropes to celebrate with the crowd!
