and Bonnar counters with a three punch combo that has Stringer backing up. Stringer nods at Bonnar to acknowledge the strikes.

Stringer tries to close the distance and clinch but Bonnar swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Bonnar throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Stringer changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bonnar tries to avoid it but Stringer manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bonnar to the ground. Bonnar escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

and Stringer decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Bonnar's guard.

Stringer drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Stringer jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Stringer stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bonnar swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Stringer has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Bonnar is proving hard to escape from.
