The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Randal misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Sanchez throws a sloppy head kick and Randal moves out of range easily.

Sanchez drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Randal is trying to get back to half guard.
Sanchez advances to full mount.
Sanchez trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Sanchez should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Sanchez has control of Randal's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Randal regains control of the situation pretty easily.

The fighters circle momentarily. Randal darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Sanchez is working to tighten is grip on Randal's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Randal has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Sanchez is really squeezing tight and eventually Randal passes out! Sanchez breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Belt really is a fat lump.

Spider gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Belt trying to control the position from guard on top but Spider is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Spider is looking for a triangle but Belt pushes his legs off easily.
Spider lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Belt!
Belt tries to lock up and control but Spider gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Spider working for a guillotine from mount but Belt is in no mood to give up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Belt wants to control but Spider is having none of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Belt wants to try and get back to his feet.
Belt might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Belt tries to reverse the position but Spider maintains control.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Test SubMan.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for SubMan, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
