The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White misses with a series of wild punches.
White paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Frank White seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
White throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
White with a nice cross.
Meister shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says White as he avoids it easily.
Meister tries to move into range but White moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
White throws a right and a left that both miss.
Meister tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Meister is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by White.
White throws a leg kick but Meister moved away.
A left lands for White.
Meister pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

White changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Meister tries to avoid it but White manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Meister to the ground. Meister escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

White is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
White wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Meister takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
White is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

White utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

White has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Meister can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

White lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Meister!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
White can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Meister is looking to escape.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
White avoids the attempt from Meister to control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
White blocks Meister's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.

Lewis throws a good cross that connects.
Gilmore really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Gilmore fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Lewis manages to avoid it.

Gilmore moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Gilmore throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Lewis misses with a two punch combination.

Gilmore uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Lewis.
