The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thomas takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Lowich bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Lowich works Thomas's body with a nice hook.
Lowich swats away the attempt to clinch by Thomas.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Thomas throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Oh Lowich is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Thomas misses with a right hand

and Lowich holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Thomas escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Lowich walks straight into a right hand from Thomas - that's dropped him! Thomas jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Lowich from any more punishment! Lowich complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Braud won't let Ituano get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

Braud postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Ituano badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Braud around the waist but Braud pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Braud is the winner by TKO! Braud jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
