Valnokov throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Putin looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Putin shoots in and drives through. Valnokov sprawls well.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Putin is looking to sinch up a triangle. Valnokov throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Putin's body to avoid the submission. Putin has instead reached around Valnokov's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Putin arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Hardy throws a nice looking combination but Cardoso bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Anderson Cardoso seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cardoso tries for a takedown but Hardy sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
No joy there for Hardy, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Cardoso shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hardy pinned against the cage. Hardy gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Cardoso closes the distance and clinches up with Hardy, looking for a takedown. Cardoso pushes Hardy against the cage but Hardy circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Jazz shoots in for a takedown but Sorokin shows good takedown defense.

"Champagne" - CAVO kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.
