Barksdale feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Johnson connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Johnson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Johnson is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Zimmerman can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Johnson goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Zimmerman is on top in guard.

Zimmerman has hold of Johnson's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Johnson manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Johnson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Zimmerman tries to avoid it but Johnson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Zimmerman to the ground. Zimmerman escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Johnson doesn't manage to clinch there - Zimmerman circles away.
Johnson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Zimmerman.

Johnson closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Zimmerman to the mat! Zimmerman manages to get full guard.

Johnson is sitting in close to Zimmerman's body. Zimmerman has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Johnson is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Johnson is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Zimmerman.
